Magdalena Carmen Frida Kahlo y Calderón was a Mexican painter born in the early 1900's. She was known for her many portraits, self-portraits, and works inspired by the nature and artifacts of Mexico.
Her face has become quite an icon, 2020 has seen a resurgence in the popularity of her work. The V & A museum in London had a wonderful exhibition in honour of her work and the gift shop has lots of wonderful things as we recall!
